I Have A C720 Chromebook And I Already Did Up Ubuntu But Im Not That Good With it

I Started Messing Around With Windows And Theres A Way To Get Windows 8 With No Driver Support, I Figure Xp Black Just Might Have Them

Ive Gotten To Dev Mode And Enabled SeaBios And Got My Xp Black Usb To Boot But I Ran Into A Problem...

"Windows NT Only Found 192K Low Memory..... 512k Low Memory Required To Run Windows Nt"

Now My Question Is, Is There Anyway To Change Low Memory, I Am In Dev Mode And Have shell And sudo bash If Needed

Or If Anyone Has Anyother Suggestion I Would Appreciate It

Also Ill Be Posting A Few Places And See What I Get

ChromeOS and Ubuntu are Linux. That's O.K. That's legit. This is a Linux Forum.

You want us to advise you about using a pirated version of Windows XP. Official support for Windows XP has ended.

Malware
  • The biggest risk using XP Black is that--unless you create a version yourself--you're never going to know everything that comes with it. Dozens of iterations, with all sorts of programs and themes, are floating around the Internet. Every version will alert security software. This may be because your AV software detects a false positive by noticing a key generator for the pirated software bundled with XP Black. There is a chance, though, that the keygen actually has a Trojan. Or maybe there are multiple Trojans or viruses hidden in a program that you'll never find until it's too late, if at all. No matter which copy of XP Black you stumble across, downloading it is a security risk.
Err...No... Not me...

I will gladly tell you how to get better with Ubuntu. You might start by looking at http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Trusty

I Just Need Like Dreamweaver And Gimp And Reliable Torrents
Dreamweaver is a Windows program. It can be installed on Linux. Google : install dreamweaver on linux . Look at: http://alternativeto.net/software/adobe-dreamweaver/?platform=linux . I recommend BlueGriffon

Gimp has a native Linux version.

I don't think that having a Torrent is part of a college course. Look here:

Must agree with the above. This is a Linux forum and we generally don't provide Winblows support. Besides, it you want Winblows, a chromebook is not best for such a memory hogging system.

Thank You Very Much, Bookmarked... Well This Helped And Im Sure Ill be Back Soon
Thanks Again

At Distroshare, we currently have 3 ubuntu based distros pre-configured for the acer c720. All you have to do is download the one you want and install it. Everything works right out of the box. Search google for distroshare to find us since I can't submit a link.

Ahhh Thats Perfect, Ive Really Been Trying To Get It To Boot From Flash I Cant Stand The 10 Gig Limit On The c720
