Guys, please help. Which file system should Debian boot disks be formatted for? And how many of these discs are needed at all: only CD 1 or CD1 and CD2?
Ребята, пожалуйста помогите. Под какую файловую систему форматировать загрузочные диски на Debian? И сколько вообще нужно этих дисков: только CD 1 или CD1 и CD2?

You will need a lot of CD's usually you would install Linux using a DVD-r or a good quality USB of minimum 4 gb [and it must be clean of any other files/folders,& etc.]

I suspect he means DVDs'.

Download Debian

It seems you can get a netinstall iso, or else it's three DVD sized iso's.

The installer takes care of this for you, you don't have to format the disk in advance.
