Help booting Acer one 10 notebook

I have tried several distros and can't get them to boot. My notebook is an Intel Atom. I disabled secure boot. I changed the boot order to USB key,first, and USB dvd drive second.Tried both 32 and 64 distros. Used Etcher to make my flash drive bootable and they work fine on my desktopmachine, but although the little light blinks that it is being accessed Win 10 just comes up. I also tried booting from the DVD drive but no goWhat am I missing???
