GnuIcecat packages that are more up to date for Debian.

why not just use librewolf?

@craigevil
Librewolf -- what's that, a part of libreoffice now? Never heard of it, but that's nothing new.
Icecat, on the other hand, has been around a long time. I remember it on early antiX and another Debian distro back then.

It seems I also remember your handle from quite aways back, elsewhere online, craigevil

On the GNU they stopped at version 60 in 2019. these are up to date packages for Debian.

GNUIcecat contains no non-free plugins.

^^
Of course, as I've never seen Icecat offered on anything but true Debian distros.

What is LibreWolf?

This project is an independent fork of Firefox, with the primary goals of privacy, security and user freedom.

LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM.

:( No arm/arm64 Icecat packages.
