Searched google for ways to install themes to my gnome environment, to no avail. The websites it recommends don't really offer what I'm looking for.
I'm looking for a way to not only install themes to my terminal shell, but also looking for ways to be able to customize the entire desktop. From the terminals, windows and font themes, just everything really.

all in all just need a recommended webpage, OR some simple instructions.

For Gnome Shell, as in your graphical desktop all you need are these.
Gnome Extension Manager: https://flathub.org/apps/com.mattjakeman.ExtensionManager
User Themes extension: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/19/user-themes
Application: Gnome-Tweaks

With Gnome-Tweaks you can customize: cursor, icons, shell, legacy applications, etc. You can look here for different themes and with Gnome Extension Manager you can add different extensions to add functionality to your desktop.

For tweaking your terminal most people use Starship or Powerlevel10k and there's Powerline-go
