Glances is a system monitoring tool which ties them all together and offers a lot more features. What I like the most is that you can use run Glances on a remote Linux server and monitor the system resources on your local system or monitor it through your web browser.

After installing, simply open a terminal and type in glances



Check in the Software Manager of your distro...it may already be there

Otherwise, installation instructions are shown on the linked page

thanks for that very useful graphical summary, had to install some separate pkgs such as hddtemp first but this is what it looks like on slackware
