Getting PPPOE

Hi!
I'd like to try out fedora for a week. But I can't seem to connect to the internet. In ubuntu, I use the command "sudo pppoeconf" and enter my username and password. I tried out pppoe-setup but it wont connect to the internet. Is there a way to get pppoeconf on fedora ? Or is there a way to replicate what pppoeconf actually does ? I was told alien wouldn't convert pppoeconf.deb to .rpm properly.
Can anybody help me connect to the internet? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
