That article is based on Fedora, but it has a lot of good info any distro.

Steam, Lutris, Proton, MiniGalaxy, GOG, Wine, Bottles, and even Gamescope.

There are a lot of options these days, not to mention a lot of Linux native games.
 


As I went through my steam library after installing Linux for the first time, there was a considerable portion of them that were natively supported on Linux. Not only did they work, they worked faster than on Windows. To say I was surprised was an understatement.

Windows is history, its a twitching corpse on Life support, propped up only by the vast monetary resources of Microsoft, which were acquired at an era when it wasn't a crap operating system.
