Hi , everyone. New to Linux, trying to install Mint on a VM. Every time I go through the install it freezes right at the logo screen with the dots that light up. I've tried multiple times, re downloaded the OS from different links, same issue. As I said I'm new to this, hope someone can help me out.

Thanks

G'day Triniminicano, and Welcome to Linux.org

How much space have you allowed the Mint to install in ?

Which Linux mint is this....and what is the VM installed on ?

GM...Virtual Box...Mint 19.2 32bit....4G of base memory 10G total

Creating the Virtual Machine

The recommended system requirements for Linux Mint 19 are:

  • 2GB of Memory (1 GB is minimum)
  • 20GB of disk space
The cause of the freezing may be something other than the obvious lack of space........however, it would be a good idea to start by increasing the disc space to 20GB
