Hello,

Its mi first post on your forum, so, hello all .
I need help for debian 11.

I have upgrade mi OMV 5 to 6, debian 10 to 11 kernel 4.19 to 5.10

I dont have any probleme for upgrade but after the reboot, i have loose mi 3 RAID HDD (2 raid 0 and 1 raid 5).

When i check with "lsblk or fdisk -l" i have only mi sda and sdb.

I think on omv6 the driver for mi raid card has been removed (PERC H310 Adapter)

I have test to boot on old kernel Linux 4.19.0-20-amd64, and all mi hdd is her.

Report on mi Omv6 debian 11 boot on old kernel 4.19

Hey,

Finaly i have find how to solve mi issue.

First, i think its because im on bios mod and not uefi.

I make backup with fsarchiver.

Do à fresh install of omv6 with uefi enable.

Restaur mi backup on the sdx2 (partition of the install)

Boot with live CD, install grub uefi and make new grub launch with uefi partition.

But same error with mi raid.

The fix its just to modify the kernel grub launch with intel_iommu=off

I think in kernel 5.x the intel_iommu is on by default and make error with old stuff.

Bybye
