Excentric boot failure

Hi, forum.

I have elementary OS (based on 14.04.1-Ubuntu) installed on a laptop. When unplugged, system crashes, and only a black screen appears. When launching in safe mode from Grub, the same log is seen:

I tried boot-repair in reinstalling Grub: nah, it seems that the issue is with the kernel (3.160-46-generic), very specific though. I tried reporting a bug on Launchpad: seems that me alone I have this problem(

Does anybody know, if there's a way it can be solved? Are there any other forums, users of which can catch the thing? Please help.

It looks like you have a bad kernel installation, most likely caused by either corrupt package downloads or (if this is a recent installation) a bad ISO. Can you redownload, check the MD5SUM of the ISO, and reinstall elementary?

I think you have a bad kernel installation, most likely caused by either corrupt package downloads.. check it if it is ok...

you can copy /boot from the same os and paste them to /boot.(i have not tried it, but it might work).
you configured kernel wrong!
i meet the same problem when i tried to upgrade kernel to 4.3.3
