Took it for a test drive for about a week and couldn't get familiar with it.

Sticking with Mulvad.

Mullvad is a very good browser, but you have to use an external password manager like KeePassXC (Open Source Password Manager)

You COULD.You don't have to. I don't. Without using these things (or their VPN service) the browser still is very secure.

I do like the idea behind Floorp (except for the name lol) that they took Firefox and changed it's appearance so much it almost look like a Chromium based browser. I respect that.

I use both Floorp and Mullvad Browsers, I like Floorp because it is safe and more comfortable than Mullvad.

Yeah, maybe there is a reason for that. ;)

I haven't played with Floorp in a few years. I should load it up and see what has changed. I played with it when it was still brand new - which I want to say was in 2021. So, it has been a minute since I've played with it.

I love playing with the various browsers. I have three of 'em open right now, all different.

Midori is in fact Foorp. I suggested that decency would require to mention this on their (Midori) FIRST page, not buried somewhere but overall this is the same thing.

but you have to use an external password manager like KeePassXC (Open Source Password Manager)
That is more secure than using a password manager manufactured and supported by the browser owner itself. DO you trust google?....No ?....then by inference you would not trust the password manager in Chrome browser.

I would trust Keepass or bitwarden over any of them

In other words I dont see it as a negative, having to use an external pwd manager

DO you trust google?....No ?.

I don't have any trust in Google, because Google has no respect for the privacy of users in fact it always tries to grab as much data as it can. In short, Google in my opinion is a real rogue.
...let alone that I would use a Google password manager.

I don't see anything negative about using an external password manager, but I prefer to use a password manager built into the browser. In the specific case of Mullvad, I think they could integrate the password manager into their browser, and put it disabled by default and leave it to the user to activate it.
