Do you use a VPN?

This is something I've often thought about setting up, but have procrastinated on. Partly because I wasn't sure how much it could cost.

I just wondered if anyone here uses a VPN service whether it's free or as a subscription. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to setup. I have Arch on my Netbook and Network Manager appears ready to configure VPN Connections. I guess it's a matter of picking a good service that is reliable and provides a good secure connection.

EDIT: My main interest in this service is security and privacy when using public Wifi. Would this also be a good way to have remote desktop access on a home computer?

Just use NetworkManager, to make life easier try getting a GUI for arch if you have not already. Then get NetworkManager-openvpn, openvpn, NetworkManager-gnome, and NetworkManager-openvpn-gnome. It works for every desktop environment except for KDE.
