Hello,
This is a S.M.A.R.T output of my faulty external harddrive(with Mint Linux and smartctl command),
While I connect my hard , the system freezes and windows can't open any of my 4 partitions and I received a format error before using and some I/O error .
While I touch my HDD I feel spinning and no abnormal or suspicious sound. LED blinking.
While searching through forums, I have come across many debates and sometimes controversial comments regarding the use of either HDD Super Clone: https://www.hddsuperclone.com/
(or its fork Open Super Clone:https://sourceforge.net/projects/opensu ... o/download )
or
GNU ddrescue : https://www.gnu.org/software/ddrescue/
I have compiled several key points for both tools and will present them here. First, I will share the results of the S.M.A.R.T. analysis(did with Linux Mint). Based on these results, which tool is more suitable and appropriate for my situation? Which one is more effective for cloning my external hard disk? and then recovery by software like TestDisk , R-studio , etc
2-If I use more than one tools , will it cause further damage to my hard ?

I did lsblk -l and faulty external HDD was sdc
