Dear Linux.org community,

Is there support for video output over USB-C to USB-C cable in any Linux distro or kernel?

I recently bought a Desklab portable monitor, which has touch functionality and works great under Windows 10 over USB-C to USB-C cable.
However, I can only get video output on Linux if I connect both the USB-C to USB-C cable (which seems to provide power) and HDMI (for video). Unfortunately, touch functionality does not work over HDMI. What puzzles me is that I did not find reports of external monitors working under Linux over direct USB-C connection...

Distro: Kubuntu 18.04 (issue tested on kernels 5.1.2 and 5.4 LTS)
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 (driver 435.21)

Well, the solution for the issue was as simple as changing the screen layout (only main monitor was enabled by default).
