/dev/sda1 Unexpected Inconsistency, Run fsck Manually

I am getting an error on startup. I tried to run fsck/dev/sda1 like it said to fix this and it tells me command not found..... what do I do now? It worked the last time...
 


You need a space after fsck... so fsck /dev/sda1

Also you may need to use sudo or be root to give the fsck command.
 
Sounds like your hard drive is going bad and it will be getting worse.
