My friend is letting me use his network for penetration testing (showing him flaws). Well I'm in virtual box with backtrack 5, my problem is when I type 'ifconfig' it shows me a default gateway of 10.0.2.15. On my real windows machine when I do a 'ipconfig' it gives me the correct default gateway which is 192.168.1.1 . Why is Linux showing a different gateway?
