Debian doesn’t find my wifi-adapta on my HP notebook 15bs-130ng

What is the output from
Code:
lspci |grep Network

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Device 24fb (rev 10)

1) There WAS a bug in Debian
We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of
wpa, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive.

Have you recently done update and upgrade?

2) Many of the Linux posts talk about the need to have at least Kernel 4.9 to sort it.

And why does the wifi work on older hardware?

First find out what kernel you have by using the command
Code:
uname -r

I do not believe it requires an answer, Peer :)

That is good news on the wifi.
