i've done the following a million times and it doesn't work anymore;

screenshot - copy to clipboard - control v (also tried mouse - right click and no paste option was shown) - it won't paste into my email body

things i've tried;
1. the above works when i paste into libre office writer
2. i went onto a website and copied a pic and pasted it into email body and it worked

The application VokoScreen supports almost anything i may think to attempt with the screen.

Try installing autocutsel.
Code:
Description: Keep the X clipboard and the cutbuffer in sync
 This tracks changes in the server's cutbuffer and clipboard
 selection. when the clipboard is changed, it updates the
 cutbuffer. When the cutbuffer is changed, it owns the clipboard
 selection. The cutbuffer and clipboard selection are always
 synchronized. In the case of a VNC client since it synchronizes the
 Windows' clipboard and the server's cutbuffer, all three "clipboards"
 are always kept synchronized. When you copy some text in Windows, the
 cutbuffer and the clipboard selection are updated. When you copy text
 on the server using either the cutbuffer or the clipboard selection,
 the Windows's clipboard is always updated.

i'm just trying to do a simplest thing in the world as usual;

What are you trying to paste into ? - open LibreOffice Writer and paste into that - you have to have an App open that will except the paste function

I heard that Windows 11 have a fantastic screenshot app pre installed, it takes screenshot of your desktop every few seconds and the product key costs only 7 euros

i've updated the problem so please re-read initial post

e and c - i'm not installing anything new, this was working fine before. i'm guessing linux did a horrible update (again) and messed everything up (again)

They have used to me, they know when I'm joking. I don't believe anyone banned you for sharing your adventures with Linux, unless you were disrespectful
