Do daily builds of Ubuntu get updates as if it was the Official Ubuntu?

Yep I'd say they every day is a new release which is why they are referred to as Daily Builds.

I may be wrong.

I believe you still have to sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade and then sudo apt dist-upgrade .

I may be wrong.

I prefer the LTS versions as I don't require or need the latest and greatest of anything which can come with bugs and unsolved problems and issues.

Amen to that !! Life has enough 'surprises' without going searching for more.
