So I have been trying to downsize my computer collection and leveraging some of my more portable devices.. Also I been dabbling with different flavours of Linux to try move away from the bloated Dozeware ...
I understand the steamdeck is running Arch, and it is immutable .. It does the very basics but I really needed to run OpenBoardViewer .. After a few hours messing around, I could not get it to run on the Deck's Arch OS .. So Enter Distrobox, which I hoped would be the solution .. Unfrotunately after a few hours again, I failed to get it running .. I managed to install it on a Fedora Container on Distrobox but I got the a bunch of Debug errors ( see attached) ..
Is there no way to get this handy app running through distrobox? If not how can I know which apps work and which do run .. I had managed to get some other apps installed (Geany, VLC, Space Pinball game)
Any thoughts
