Connectivity at first attempt

We use Suse Enterprise Linux server in our organization. For quite some time now, I am facing this issue. Whenever a user tries to connect to the applications or websites or database hosted on this server, at first it doesn't connect, it doesn't even ping. If they try continuously or ping continuously then they are able to connect. Once connected there is no speed/ connectivity issue. It works super fine. This problem is only with this specific server. There are other servers they work completely fine all the time. No network issue or any kind of issue with other servers/applications/websites etc.

Kindly provide your insights. Thanks.

PS: All of above servers and applications are working within intranet.
Edit 1: After getting connected, if after sometime user become idle then connection gets disconnected and user faces same problem while trying to reconnect.

This sounds like a hardware error of some kind.

Actually we have all the servers deployed on single VM hypervisor. So they all share single physical server running multiple server virtually. In this case, If issue is with NIC or any other hardware component then it must be with all other server but that's not the case.

Well that's a whole different set of potential problems then. I can't really speak to your configuration except in general terms, but the first place I'd check (and perhaps you already have) would be any logging on both the VM side and the Hypervisor side, for errors or anomalies in the networking realm. Since you are running Suse Enterprise Linux server means that you are paying for a subscription and have access to support, if you can't figure it out create a ticket make them work for their money.
