I have an RTX 2060 Super, Ryzen 5 3600X, X570-PLUS.

When I try to boot linux, I encounter a similar problem with each distro I have tried. Purple and green bars appear and roughly 2/3rds of the screen is cut off. I do not know how to continue from this point. I assume this is a graphics card issue, though I don't know for sure and I don't know how I would go about fixing it. Any help would be appreciated. Let me know if you need more computer spec info.

can't type much, broken shoulder.

I assume this is a graphics card issue,

could be - does the bootable medium get as far as a menu option where you can edit commands?

if so, choose it and look for a line starting with linux and including quiet splash - insert

nomodeset

before quiet splash and try booting

1. can you give us the exact name of your manjaro .iso, also those og kubuntu and arch if you have them? eg manjaro-mate-18.0.4-stable-x86_64.iso

2. michael larabel at phoronix has this

https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=AMD-Releases-Linux-Zen2-Fix

and it seems systemd and your motherboard may be in conflict

you could update your bios to see if that helps

a patch for systemd may have been released july last year. if that is so, you could try with an older manjaro, eg the 17 series (systemd 239), and if that gets you to the install point and you are internet connected, the installer will likely include the patch.

current systemd is in the 242 range.
