Cannot boot with a live Ubuntu in my LG laptop

I haven't been able to any of the ways to boot Ubuntu USB. I have already tried several ways. In Bios I set secure boot disabled, and I’ve tried to let legacy and/or uefi. But when laptop starts, only show me windows boot option, none usb option. I’ve tried to format several times. This is a windows 11 LG laptop. In the past with another laptops of other brands never been given so much trouble. It's impossible. I can't get it.
Please help me someone.

I seem to be typing this a lot lately,
First enter the BIOS and disable windows Quick start, then make sure USB is set to first boot and re-start the computer
instead of changing the boot order, you could also use the one time temporary boot menu, [after the re-start]

That about quick start, I haven't given it much importance so far… You think it’s the key? Because I tried to do a could boot on the laptop several times.

And about you put “When asking for help“ on the foot or your comments, well it’s an LG laptop I-7 16GB, with windows 11. Bios is Inside GC198 version SMBIOS 3.2… The ISO is Ubuntu 22 desktop burned with balenaetcher, rufus, lilo……. in various pendrives
It seem to me too that BIOS doesn't allow itself to be manipulated so much. I can mainly change UEFI or LEGACY, order of booting and SECUREBOOT or NOT. At least in my opinion, in what matters most about this problem.

Had a quick look at the spec of your laptop, 2 comments,
the backlight on the keyboard may take some tweaking to get it working
when you choose your distribution, make sure it includes the non-free driver pack,

Well, the result is.... It doesnt work. Turning off fast boot on windows doesn't affect.
I am frustrated, my laptop has to be dominated by Windows i suppose.

Well onto last knocking's then, this is 3 years old and for a slightly different model but may sort your problem use the latest Ubuntu should be ok if the rest works.

When you have made changes in the bios.....such as turning off secure boot and selecting USB as the boot device etc.......have you SAVED those changes ?

Also......you can try making your bootable usb with Rufus

I'm getting a similar problem too on an Inspiron 3505 running Windows 10 - the advanced boot menu appears to be completely disabled which prevents enabling the USB boot option.

If I want to boot to my Flash Drive on either Laptop or Tower...I plug in my Flash Drive and start tapping the correct key when computer is Booting. This brings up the Boot Menu...scroll down to the Flash Drive using the mouse or arrow keys and hit Enter...simple.

never did see that you mentioned the exact model number of the LG your using.
According to LG on most of there laptops you enter the bios by hitting the F10 key while machine is booting.
then you need to make sure that secure boot is turned off and USB is first boot option.
But it does depend upon the model your using.

Bios is Inside GC198

Do you mean InsydeH20 GC-189? Most InsydeH20 BIOS requires an admin password to save the changes when switching it from UEFI to Legacy or any other advanced option, which you create under the Security Tab in the BIOS, make it really simple. My Acer has an InsydeH20 Bios and that is what I had to do to change it from UEFI to Legacy

Yes it turns out I needed to hit F12 rather than F2 (I thought they did the same thing initially!) - that and I also needed to use a GPT partition on the USB for Kali to boot up - all fine now.
