Hello all.
I know my question is a little silly but can linux have any active directory?

Cheers.

Hi Jason,
If you want to know how well and powerful OpenLDAP is working as an Active Directory (AD), try Univention Corporate Server (UCS). This Linux distro has an integrated management system on the basis of OpenLDAP. With UCS, you can either migrate an AD incl. all existing users, groups, computers and policies, or run both directories in parallel or also join UCS in a Windows domain, whatever makes more sense to a company.
Further info on UCS here in the resources section.
