I want to create a soft access point using my PC with WEP encryption in order to connect my Nintendo DS to the internet, as the DS only supports Wifi with WEP encryption. Unfortunately, Windows 10 doesn't allow you to make a hotspot with that encryption method, only WPA.
Is there a Linux distro I could download onto a partition on my hard drive that would allow me to accomplish this? I'm completely inexperienced with Linux (except using a Raspberry Pi) but I'm fairly tech-savvy and could figure it out.
