Recently install Mint 18.0 and Ubuntu 18.3 on both of my computers, moved most of what i want saving across now and using Linux much more daily .
I have been installing then deleting various programs also lots of Browser usage.
If i had been on Windows i would by now be using something like Ccleaner or Windows own program to delete cookies - Temp folders Cache - Compute history etc.
Has Linux a Terminal command or other way of doing this.
Thank you

There is probably a terminal command ...but AI have no idea what it is.

Generally it is not necessary.

On occasion (rare) I use Ubuntu cleaner

HERE

it involves this :
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gerardpuig/ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ubuntu-cleaner

Be EXTREMELY careful, particularly with "cleaning" or deleting any KERNELS. I usually leave them alone....the amount of space they take is negligible.

Linux works in a completely different way to windows (thank god )....so regular cleanups and defrags and all that crap are a thing of the past.

The easiest way to really clean...is to clean your browser......firefox from memory. Clean the cache etc
