Bugs with XFCE on Peppermint Linux

I have Peppermint Linux and I really like XFCE. However after I customized it with Compiz and Docky. It started bugging: For example, The icons will not appear or the dock will disappear or it will be lower than it is supposed to be, or in rare cases, compiz will not load. Any ideas?

Xfce is designed to work more efficiently with Xfwm. You could experiment with the same combination (xfce + compiz + docky) in another distro to see if there's any improvement.

I just got an idea. It could be my computer running out of memory! I'll try to boost it by using:
sudo bash
swapoff /dev/sda5
swapon /dev/sdb1

I am running a Manjaro system with XFCE that uses compiz with emerald and all is good. However, I do not have docky. Also, I believe that docky has a tool that does CPU and RAM monitoring.

When ever the XFCE panel loads up it shows I am using at least 50% of my CPU

I thought the actual problem was described in the beginning of this thread (buggy guis). Anyway, Xfwm is lighter than Compiz.
