I've been pondering this since the ChatGPT thing came around.

How much longer will it be before search engines just answer questions themselves?

At that point, what's the point of many sites like mine - except to provide content that gets used to answer questions without the benefit of visitors?

So then, what's the motivation to keep writing for said site?

Which leads to the AI maybe not having new material to answer new questions because nobody has taken the time/made the effort to share the information on the web...
