Bluetooth usb adapter

Hi,

I'm using Kubuntu 20.04 LTS with kernel 5.4. I have this Bluetooth usb adapter. I installed driver from here, as this company has an adapter with the same chip (RTL8761B). At first it didn't work, then I tried disabling secure boot and it worked. Is it safe? If not, is it possible to make this work with secure boot? Kernel update? Or is it because of the driver?

Anyway, if you have any recommendations on bluetooth chip that works with kernel 5.4 that would be great.

Only you can decide if you need secure boot. Read this and then decide:


I don't usually bother with it.

As for Bluetooth devices, I find the parent category (using NewEgg as just an example) and then use the 'search within' feature to add Linux as a search modifier. The resultant URL looks like this:
