Anyone try Blackarch yet? How do you think the toolset compares to Kali or Parrot OS?
I have installed it on a VM and I'm looking forward to using it. Just wondering if anyone was familiar. I think it's fairly new.

Black arch is 12 yrs old and basically uses the same tool kit as all the other pentesting distros do. or any desktop Linux can if you install them.

The full download is 22 Gig's!

I've never tried Black Arch however, I have tried Parrot OS.

The Parrot OS Community were very helpful at the time and joining their forum was a good education at the very least.

Are you fairly good with Arch Linux FrankN?

In that case I wish you the best.

You'll benefit from reading how to run Arch.

If you have the time, maybe post a few screenshots of the Black Arch desktop and the goodies.

Appreciate the links. I am reading as much as I can before I dive in

My pleasure. Teaching folks how to run Linux is one of the things I enjoy in life.

The more you learn how the package management system of Arch works the less intimidating things will be. Then you can enjoy your distro.:)

Have a nice weekend:-

You also! Thanks again!

When you have time post a few screenshots of Black Arch?

I've been reading through the Black Arch manual over the last few days.
Blackman has to be installed and I'll have to install Virtual box when I get time.

Installed Virtual Box version 7.0 yesterday and created a vm just for Black Arch today.
Black Arch launched w/o a hitch.:)

I'll have to install it later.
