I thought I just had a plain old hardware problem. Then it got weird.
When on Chromium, any time I try to create or edit a calendar event in Outlook Web Access, my monitors go blank. Computer still works (skype calls keep going, etc), but the screen is blank. Have not found any way to restart X using magic sysrq, etc.
In Firefox, anytime I try to click on the link to download google chrome that comes from searching for google chrome on firefox (cant post specific link bc im a newb on this forum) screens go blank. I can, however, create or edit calendar events in OWA fine on Firefox.
I tried switching from LinuxMint 17 to Xubuntu 14.04, and same behavior in both on a fresh install w/ updates. I'm on an old dell latitude d600 laptop, currently running Xubuntu 14.04, w 4gb of ram.
Any ideas on how I can try to debug this? I have run all my system tests and they come out fine. I can work for hours without any issue, but if I happen to edit an event in OWA its lights-out every time.
