Binaires Copy

Hi Guys i'm new in this world of linux and i have a question about copy a binarie. Recently i have to make a changes in a centos server and i copied a binarie of a program to add to another server. It s a long history but my real question is, can i corrupt a binarie if i made a copy when the progam is using that binarie.

Our Admin @Rob works with centOS, and others such as @tchakatak may also be of assistance.

I run about 60 - 80 Linux at a time, including Fedora, but have not yet got into the Server side of things.
