I am new to Linux and just installed Mint this weekend on my desktop. And I love it! I am looking for the best one for my netbook. I have an aging HP Compaq Mini 10. It has an Intel Atom CPU N270 @ 1.60GHz Processor; 2.0 GB Memory; 32-bit OS; and Mobile Intel 945 Express Chipset Display Adapter. I am currently running Win [ :p ] and it is slow. Any suggestions?

Why not stick with Mint? You have enough RAM on the netbook, so I'd guess it should run fine for you. If it seems sluggish, there are a number of options that work well with older hardware and less RAM, such as Lubuntu, LXLE, Puppy Linux, and others.

Have fun! And welcome to the community!

I tried loading mint but it wouldn't load. Can you give me a link for Lubuntu?

Tried a few distros on my HP Mini. Would recommend LXLE or Linux Lite.
