Best Linux ebook reader app?

Good evening,

With the unfortunate but not surprising news that a certain company is removing purchased ebooks, I've decided to transferred all my ebooks to my Linux laptop. I originally wanted to convert all of them to PDF but then i realized that Linux must have a great eBook app that i don't know about.

Any recommendations???

Calibre.

When installed from the Software Manager, it comes with E-book Editor, E-book Viewer and LRF Viewer

With Calibre you can store your book there and you are also able to convert them from one format to any other.

It is an invaluable app

I'm gonna skirt the edge as Android is technically Linux -- at least the kernel -- and just also recommend KOReader (from F-Droid repos) if you want to use a phone / table, which I prefer for reading as I find reading on a large screen kinda kills it for me. Mobile devices let you read on the go and in bed, but different strokes. Just thought I'd put it out there.
KOReader has an AppImage for Desktop Linux, too, if you're interested. It's not nearly as feature-rich as Clibre, but for someone like me who prefer simple UIs and lightweight, minimalistic approaches, it's my choice. Ase I say, different strokes.

I 2nd the Calibre recommendation. Have used it for several years works great on Mint and other linux Distros.

I use KoReader, it works with everything other than .mobi format.
Okular is another suggestion, especially if you run KDE.

Also, when it's time, you can probably do a bulk conversion to PDF. There are a bunch of eBook and PDF tools for the terminal.
