Best fit for Dell XPS 410?

My son's old Dell XPS 410 desktop is still running XP. Currently only 2GB of ram but planning on upgrading to the 4GB the machine can hold.

It was used for homework and PC games. It has an Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS card in it also.

I was thinking Lubuntu anyone have any other ideas?

Hoping to still run some games off of it.

Lubuntu should work fine. Just be aware that Linux can wipe out everything and you should backup any files you want to keep.

Really, any distro should be able to run on 2Gb, let alone 4Gb.
