Been Gone So Long, Re-introducing Myself

I haven't been around much since July 2024.

I finally ditched the monster about a year ago. Not long after that I had to move suddenly. In July I was diagnosed with cancer. Things were helter skelter for a while. I had limited access to internet, in and out of the hospital for four months, moved around.... It wasn't a lot fun.

I'm just now getting settled and pretty much starting my life over. I finally got my tower out of storage yesterday. I'm really glad to have an actual PC again. I spent most of yesterday cleaning everything up. A lot of dust! And then updates... OMG! I've at once realized how much I remember about using Linux and how much I've forgotten as well. I remembered to take Snapshot using Timeshift and added notes so they wouldn't be deleted, thank you @Condobloke and @wizardfromoz . After installing my VPN I realize I don't remember how to sign in as a super user! I was still a 'Newbie' when things went south. I guess I'm a little bit more new again!

Last I remember you were healing from a fall on a sidewalk that was unfit for walking.
