Hi and welcome to forums.
You don't need to retype which is indeed a lot of work, you can simply copy/paste your post here. e.g.
CTRL +C and CTRL + V is the fastest way.

I am using Fedora 41, on an MSI motherboard, mine is an ALC1220, not a ALC898, but I never had any problems with it.
