I make 'generic' comments and expect the guilty parties to address it themselves. This is usually enough. I don't like to ban or chastise directly - at least not in public. I expect folks to be reasonable and honest with themselves (and me).

I have already countless times told myself I won't take any part in political discussions even if it's only a hint or potentially political not only here but also in RL because it brings nothing good at all and these types of discussions are also socially destructive, no matter what you do or say.
