So, I installed a cosmetic for a network widget, and it froze my system, I can still access console with Ctrl + alt + f3 so I’m going to either remove the cosmetic I downloaded, or the network widget that’s on my desktop all together, but I need to know the file name and where it is stored, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am not a KDE user, but I got this for you:

As last resort, you can also log out and manually edit ~/.kde/share/config/plasma-desktop-appletsrc, but I doubt it will be necessary.

Source:

Scroll down and there's that bit of information, which you'll probably need as you have no GUI. So, you'll want to edit that file and remove the reference to the widget. I have no idea what it's called, as I didn't install it. It probably says something about 'network' in the widget title. You'll need to remove that.

I looked and can't find a way to start KDE in some sort of safe mode. Someone else may know of a way.
