App to edit & read files with extensions smf & spv

There is an app in windows is called "essential FTIR" which read files with extensions .smf & .spv.

The app is so expensive for me, I wish someone can help me to find some alternative app(s) in Ubuntu (or Win) to read and edit them.

Libre Office will open .smf but as far as I can see it will not open .spv
