Anyone switching back to Windows 11 for this awesome "feature"?

Here is an interesting video you guys should watch, it explains why Windows as well as MS is dying:

We typical desktop users we are not the target audience for those companies. What they attempt over the years may seem silly to us but there is audience for this crap, the vast majority of the tech users actually

That makes sense for Apple but not for Microsoft.

MS's pivot to other market and leaving desktop behind is just silly, they should stick to desktop and keep dominating, but this way they're going to lose the only thing they have and end up like IBM on day.

Not that I'm not happy with it though, I look forward to their downfall.

I think Windows have become a necessary evil for their users, Microsoft doesn't have fanboys like Apple, It's like everyone using it is suffering it, even those who don't know that alternatives exist, it is something trivial and knowing how to use it is not something to brag about. The only thing that keep Windows on top is the software that have been made for it, it's not minuscule matter and not something that can be easily undone. But as software becomes more and more multi platform and browser based the percentage of Windows will drop, there is no love for it, no dedicated users

It's like M$ are reacting every time to market trends established by other companies. And then they take so long trying to make their version better than everyone else's, by the time they're ready to release it, it's already "old-hat" and the market's moved on to pastures new.....

The days of M$ truly "innovating" are as dead as that infamous dodo. All they do these days is to play catch-up.....

Still, when all's said & done, an OS is only as good as the software you run on top of it. And if that doesn't exist, the OS itself becomes irrelevant. Windows only remains relevant due to the vast library of software written for it that exists out there in the wild. (That, and the huge arsenal of "dirty tricks" their legal department have played on everyone else in the tech world over the years.....trying to "lock" 'em into only doing things THEIR way).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
At the end of the day, I couldn't really care what OS I run, so long as it leaves it me free to use my own system the way I want to use it, and doesn't try to shove somebody else's vision down my throat. Linux fits those criteria perfectly.......and Puppy, in particular, suits me down to the ground.
I know lots of Windows users and none of them have any complaints or are experiencing any suffering from using Windows.
Exactly what type of suffering do you refer to and experience using Windows OS.
What keeps Windows on top is they have the market share plain and simple.
More Windows OS users than Apple, Chrome, Linux and Windows will always hold that title.
What a lot of you don't realize is that the majority of Windows users don't want to and refuse to want to learn a different OS.
If the majority of Windows users were really suffering and experiencing problems and really wanted to and were willing to learn a different OS they would have already done it.
All most users know and are comfortable with using and will continue to purchase and use is Windows OS.
Windows users are happy using Windows as long as they are able to access their social media websites and nothing more.
The people I know who no longer use their Windows computers are using their cell phones as they're able to do most everything they do on their cell phone.
I'll still never understand why most Linux users move away from Windows OS and yet are still so concerned and worried about what Windows does.
I understand if you are in the computer repair business and your customer base are Windows users as you have a reason to keep up with Windows.
The Wife uses Apple and I use Linux no more Windows computers in our house.
Neither of us care or are concerned about what Windows or Microsoft does or is doing and why should we care we no longer use Windows OS.
If you're not in the Windows repair business than why be concerned about Windows OS or what Microsoft is doing if you aren't using Windows OS.
I want an increase of market share for Linux so we can have more attention by the software developers, I don't want Linux desktop to be mainstream ever. And I don't really care what MS does, we just talking here, blessing our beards, as we say in our country
Better find a way to generate money flow with Linux.
Software developers are a business corporation and business corporations are about making money and no money means no interest.
I don't want Linux desktop to be mainstream ever.
Leave Linux be Linux is fine where it is no pollution.
The day Linux becomes mainstream is the day Linux becomes just another polluted OS.
And I don't really care what MS does, we just talking here, blessing our beards, as we say in our country
Kinda hard to tell from what I read here and on other Linux forums.
I believe complaining about Windows and Microsoft is part of being a Linux user for some Linux users.
Guess I never understood the beard blessing thing and I've had a beard for a long time.
Nope. Frankly, I've never found AI much help. Sure, it can do your work for you, but it doesn't really feel the same. What makes humans so great is the fact that each and every one of us is unique, and getting AI to do stuff for you takes that away, turning what could otherwise be a learning opportunity or a creative outlet into bland and soulless junk.
That all being said, it certainly has some great use cases. Those use cases will always be better done by humans, but it does help lessen our workload. It has it's uses, but it's not for me. Anyways, I'll stop talking as I've turned a post about Copilot+ into social commentary about how AI affects our society.
From 1984:
"He took a twenty-five-cent piece out of his pocket. There, too, in tiny clear lettering, the same slogans were inscribed, and on the other face of the coin the head of Big Brother. Even from the coin the eyes pursued you. On coins, on stamps, on the covers of books, on banners, on posters, and on the wrappings of a cigarette packet—everywhere. Always the eyes watching you and the voice enveloping you. Asleep or awake, working or eating, indoors or out of doors, in the bath or in bed—no escape. Nothing was your own except the few cubic centimeters inside your skull."
Well at this rate even the few cubic centimeters inside your skull will be gone too. They are working on that one too.
