I like to install Virtual Machine in my Xubuntu.
If I succeed in the installation, I will install Window on the Virtual Machine.

Which Virtual Machine would you recommend? VirtualBox, VMware, or something?

Do you have any link for following up?

Okay, you don't recommend Virtual Machine in my Xubuntu? do you?

Installing VMWare on xubuntu will be exactly the same as installing it on Ubuntu

Can you google that ?

Thank you, Condobloke, for the link below.

https://vitux.com/how-to-install-vmware-workstation-on-ubuntu/

I am on the way of following the link above.
I did Step 1: Download the official VMware binary package
and
I did Step 2: Install Build Essential to your system
but on the way of step3, it says like the following.
$ sudo bash ~/vmware.bin
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 1: !doctype: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 2: html: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 3: head: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 4: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 5: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 6: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 7: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 8: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 9: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 10: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 11: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 12: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 13: link: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 14: title: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 15: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 16: meta: No such file or directory
/home/ker/vmware.bin: line 17: syntax error near unexpected token `<'
'home/ker/vmware.bin: line 17: ` <script src="js/respond.min.js"></script>
What's wrong with it?
How can I make it continue?

Did you continue Step 2 ? (The system will prompt you with a Y/n option to continue the installation procedure. Please enter Y to continue.)

Did you continue Step 2
Yes I did, but I failed at first. but I succeed it at second time.
I did type "y" with Y/n option to to continue

I guess I should remove the VMWare and reinstall it.

if it continued the second time you typed Y.....continue on from there.....if you are uneasy about it....start again

capital Y....or lower case y....can sometimes make a difference

$ sudo apt-get remove "VMWare"
[sudo] password for ker:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
E: Unable to locate package VMWare
I have no idea how to remove it

read my post above.....if it responded when you typed the Y.....then continue on

$ sudo apt install build-essential
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
build-essential is already the newest version (12.4ubuntu1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 20 not upgraded.
Since I have vmware.bin in home/user/, I skip step 1, and going to step 2 like the above.
But It doesn't ask y/n anymore.
I guess I did type small "y" instead of the capital "Y".
Now I can't go back to step2.

A man travels the world in search of what he needs and returns home to find it.
Could you rephrase it?

Dont worry about going back....do not worry about the Yy.....

If it is still progressing.....keep going

I did step2 and step3 like the following.
~$ sudo apt install build-essential
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
build-essential is already the newest version (12.4ubuntu1).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 20 not upgraded.
$ sudo bash ~/vmware.bin
There should be vmware.bin in home/ker like the attached.
What's wrong?

I like to reinstall the whole Xubuntu and install VMWare correctly.

Okay, I'll dot it, not now but later.
