Thank you for your time but the article in the link is too technical I don't think they go that far.

The questions before and after that have to do with structured wiring for computer networks so I suspect that might refer to the physical shaft that needed to connect the floor distributors with the main distributor usually in the basement of a building, I will go with that

For wiring, that makes sense. I've never done wiring myself, except in my house.

Edit: never mind, I’ve just read the other post about wiring! Probably not pipes then. Ha ha!
