Thanks I'll look at the emulator - the supertux package was a slackware one and unlike Debian comes as one package agreed when I have compiled from Debian it is two the game and game data package.

I compile from debian, Vector and Slackware and absolute linux mainly because sonetimes Debian has some strange extra dependencies.

From what I remember I got it here
http://slackware.org.uk/slacky/slackware-13.37/games/supertux/0.1.3/

Anyway thankyou I'll certainly port some emulators not just that one:D

Have just compiled zsnes emulator compiled for Anitaos and tested works with Super Mario.smc. Bear in mind please check licences before downloading these games with regards to laws in your country. I have placed zsnes under emulators.

The .pet files should also be compatabile with Anitaos.

I have wine already at the Anitaos site.

Have now just compiled and located under emulators dosbox and mupen64plus.

Yep Nintendo great memories thanks Devyn for that trip down memory lane - good times.

Hi Anitos users big news I have created new LT (Long Term) iso releses that you will find here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/anitaos/files/Anitaos/LATEST LTS ANITAOS ISO/

I have decided to concentrate on Gpup SMP kernel iso and non 4.12 barebones based iso and have dropped the 4.31 based barebones iso as Gpup does the same job.

As always please read the Wki first by the way in the same folder as these iso's there are 2 updates that need to be installed post installtion as they work best that way all tools like deb2pet can be found back in the tools for anitaos section by the way these iso's contain the artwork of Linux.org's very own Devyn C Johnson who is very talented as an artist please do check out his work and thank you again for your support with anitaos.

By the way the Frisbee wireless/Wired network manager is installed by default to make connectivity easier.

flashplayer for legal reasons is installed separately here
http://sourceforge.net/projects/anitaos/files/Anitaos/flashplayer10-10.3.183.90.pet/download

Thanks! :D:)

Added Laptools-all from Dpup a puppy Linux Derivative and Acpid to deal with powering off and related issues - there is more details on the site Wiki.

Laptools-all also has different performance profiles - Powersave, Turbo etc you may need to reactivate Frisbee network once after this upgrade when you have rebooted the computer.

Regarding ACPID see below

Added Opera and QTweb to Browser section. Also Osmo

Opera is a great browser to add. Unfortunately, GNU/Linux support was dropped.

Yes when they changed engine. It runs so fast on anitaos and still a good browser to use.

Latest seamonkey 2.24 added to Internet section - It installs to /opt/seamonkey/seamonkey

Please edit the browse icon on your desktop as follows (as this version creates no menu entry).

Right click on it and choose open as text and create the following entry
#!/bin/sh
exec /opt/seamonkey/seamonkey "$@"
From the file menu click
save

Keepassx from slackware added to anitaos Security section.

Handy Vid from Nixiepixel

An extremely late reply but found the possible driver for this if anybody else with the same device needs it - original quote "
I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question but I've already looked through the other forums and couldn't find any help.

AnitaOS seems like the perfect OS for my old Compaq Presario 1200 laptop. In fact, I was able to successfully install it to the hard disk and it seems to run pretty good. My problem is that it doesn't recognize my USB wireless adapter (Edimax EW-7811Un). I tried doing the Autoprobe function through the entire list of included drivers. A lot of them seem to load but none of them recognize the adapter. This laptop does not have a wired ethernet adapter so I have no way of connecting to the internet. I do have a driver disk that came with the adapter that has linux drivers (RTL8192CU) on it but I can't figure out how to install them. It has a file called Makefile but when I try to run it as a command it says "Command not found". (It's probably obvious by now that I'm a Linux newbie)."
