I tried to get kali dual booted off a usb flash, to install it to am ssd later on, on a windows pc, with ubuntu installed on the host os drive. But I'm stuck in grub. Sub section Memdisk I think, I'm pretty noob with command lines at the moment so I'm not smart enough to get out of here. See pics for the given text

Welcome to the forums
Your age, ethnicity or location means nothing to us, members are members. And please moderate your language as we have members from 13 yrs old up to over 90
can we get some clarification
are you trying to
1]install ? or
2]just test [run live]

problems could be corrupt download [did you check the SHS sum] a bad write to the USB [try again] dud USB
if tying to install have you disabled both windows quick-start [fast-boot] and secure boot

If you are a newbie to Linux then I doubt you have the experience to be installing Kali please take the time to read the full Kali docs [there are a lot of pages link to Kali docs

No offense meant to you but by your own admission you are not "smart" enough to use Kali. Kali is strictly for penetration testing. IT IS NOT FOR DAILY NORMAL USE. There is no shame in not being ready to use kali. Many people try and fail because for some reason they choose it as their first distro. Go use Fedora or Ubuntu and become proficient in it before you try Kali.

You still have more to learn, I am still learning Kali myself and I am proficient. You must be able to solve problems like this yourself or Kali will never work.

Listen to BrickWizard and he is ready to help you get your issue fixed, but my advice is to quit Kali until you have learned more.

@Vizz420K
And probably most important regarding Kali, before even trying to learn anything is to categorize methods and tools, in other words if you don't categorize Kali down to pieces you'll have a huge berg of stuff and no clue where to start.

First and most important category and it's tools to learn is "Information gathering".
If you skip such categories and jump straight into password cracking or exploiting systems you'll not only fail but also lose all hope due to lack or self-organization.

In simplest terms you need to learn how to learn to be able to learn anything - learning methodology is as important as to know how to drink a glass of water..

To Vizz420K. Shutdown your computer. You need to boot the USB in UEFI mode to boot from it, or to install it onto your system. You are getting the Bios Grub message because the computer does not know what you are doing. To boot from the flash drive (USB), when booting up your computer (switching it on), make sure your USB is connected to your computer, keep pressing the F8 key on your keyboard until the list of your usb comes up, select the UEFI-2 option with your "Up and Down keys" on your keyboard, from there you should be-able to boot from it and then install Kali Linux onto your system. IF it does not do as above then download Kali linux again and then you will need to download Ventoy https://www.ventoy.net/en/index.html and use that to install Kali linux onto your USB drive, and then do as above.
