A few network bandwidth terms you should know

When comparing these test sites it's important to run tests vs a server of same distance.

I have tested vs server in Vienna and got approx same results.

Here is brand new test with some 300km server difference from me:

speedtest:
Down: 32.66
Up: 4.67

cloudflare:
Down 34.2
Up: 4.61

So it's fine.

I know what my speeds are...you can run 10 different tests with 10 different testers and get 10 different results but the two I use are very close...that's good enough for me.

You'll never get exactly the same results, but 10% discrepancy in measurement is IMO tolerable.

I've learned 3 rules in total need to be followed:
1. Close down all programs
2. Run tests in private browser window without any extensions
3. Run tests vs a server at same distance
