Hello all. I am an intermediate Linux Mint user and have been experiencing a problem with video playback on YouTube, while using the Chrome browser. When I try to watch a 1080p/60FPS video on YouTube, while using the Chrome browser, I experience video artifacting. Which is where the video stream begins to become blocky/blocked, almost as if my machine is having a hard time keeping up to date with the video stream.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Not all video on YouTube is recorded at 1080/60f. Some is higher, but some is lower.
What video card/driver are you using? What is your monitor resolution/refresh?

If you have RAM to spare try adding this to your /etc/fstab
Code:
tmpfs /home/usr/.cache/google-chrome tmpfs rw,nodev,nosuid,size=1G 0 0
replace usr with YourUserName
