Hello everyone,

i have used Pureos (Debian based) in the past and now i am using KDE for the first time.
My biggest problem with KDE is that KDE can't connect with my phone (usb cable)
it says:
when i connect my android phone on pc with usb cable it says: “no storage media found, make sure your device is unlocked and has MTP enabled in its USB connection settings”
Well of course my phone is unlocked and MTP is activated you peace of sh... :p
But still i get this messages and so i can't get access to my phone.
Byzantium or Amer (other pureos versions that or not KDE) never ask for MTP. always used PTP without problems.

i have no clue what to do know because i did everything what he want.

Maybe i can change some settings in KDE so that it will accept PTP?

In the past I've not had much luck with MTP and KDE. Instead, as kc1di has suggested, kdeconnect works well and I've not had any issues with it (the key being to gave it enough permissions on the phone). Plus, kdeconnect can do other stuff, such as forwarding desktop-notifications to the phone.
