    Yes I remember you. Long time... All I did was install 21.2 Like sooo many installs before. This company BeeLink who is putting it out. was dezigned for MicroJunk. I'll keep ya updated, I have two of them to play with now. Weehawk and Peace are out battling over @ Skortch. Elinore says peace.

    Yes to the last two. It is the way it loads on install. Went to earlier comp. and everything fine.

    I have had up 4 Linux OSs on one (1) drive. Your partition is the key. Primary was for EFI, extended partition divided into whatever I choose to run; Kali, Linux mint, Ubuntu, etc. Hope this may help.

    To update, I have not had it to work from out da gate...ALWAYS had dis prob on me HP laptop. Don't do Timeshift, to much like MicroJunk Recovery mode. I just backup da drive (reliable). I cannot say anymore than what has been written so far...It has never restarted/shutdown EVER science first...

    I have MX Linux on a HP cmxxxx laptop and it WILL not shutdown or restart. This has happened on MX everytime I have installed it. Do I need MX Linux for dummies, or can someone that has ran across this problem help out an Old Fart!!! Getting to old to learn new tricks... Tanks in advance.

    Recently I was asking for help on an error I was getting. SOLVED! I was messing around with some old legacy os and changed me bios to load it. WELLLLLLL, I forgot to return to the bios and change it back EFI mod and therein the problem went away. Thanks to all who did reply with suggestions...
